Espresso Machines?

Hi Newlyweds! I hope you don't mind me invading your board for a registry question... FH and I want a nice espresso machine but we don't feel comfortable putting one in the $500+ on the registry. I was wondering what espresso machine you registered for and how it's worked out for you? I'm very comfortable using all the equipment, like the frothing wand, so it doesn't need to be beginner level.

I would've posted this on BHB but I think, especially with espresso machines, sometimes you can't really tell how well certain appliances are going to work until you've used them a few times. I'm assuming you all have finally started to get some use out of those shower gifts!
