Re: Anyone read todays' IMPULSE in Newsday?

I don't live in NY so can you explain to me what impulse is and how today's relates to the NW board?
I'm confused but maybe it's just because I don't know what it is.

Is this article about newlyweds on LIWeddings.com being tired of incessant posts about things that have nothing to do with newlywed life? Cause I would be all over that.

It's a section in Part 2 of Newsday where people in their twenties (Called the 'Review Crew') rate various things, such as movies, TV shows, new CD's bars, etc.

Today's Review Crew reviewed the new show 'The Office'

Where is the scratching head icon? Why would the poster post this on NW?
I don't understand.

PS thank you for explaining it to me.

Re: Anyone read todays' IMPULSE in Newsday?

I think many of us have been very inviting in terms of continuing asking, PLEADING, with BTB to please keep the Newlywed board for the topics that are meant to be on it, those of interest and discussed between Newlyweds.
Many of us still continue to post on BHB so we can assist BTB in planning their weddings and answering questions.
I believe that you made an honest mistake in posting your post on this board, but as someone who posts on here almost as much as your post on your own 'year' board, I think people are just getting really frustrated already as certain people make a choice NOT to take our requests and feelings into consideration. That being said, I don't think that Tracy's comment was uncalled for, being that you are really a frequent poster on this board.

I try to categorize my questions (ie: if someone has already HAD a wedding and I want to know feedback about a vendor - I may post on newlyweds).

I have not read any posts about newlyweds not wanting brides to be posting here. Maybe I missed that.

I thought I could post here to ask newlyweds ?'s. Guess not. If others abuse this board - I guess I got the brunt of it. Based on you're reaction I rather avoid this board section alltogether - married or not.
