Has anyone taken one of those guided tours in Europe for their hm or other vacation? I'm talking about Perillo, Trafalgar, Globus, etc, I don't know speak another langauge and I'm a little nervous about travelling in a foreign country without knowing my way around.
Also, how much did you pay?

Re: European Guided Tours
We did a Globus tour of Italy (Rome, Venice, and Florence) for our HM. It was a good tour, but we are generally not tour people. So in the future we will go traveling on our own. The food they give you is not very good but luckily with Globus, you have a lot of meals on your own, which is good. There are optional activities which are extra money, but they are fun. The best thing is that you get to visit many cities and not have to worry about your luggage or transportation. They take care of that for you. A few hotels we stayed at were not great, though. But some of the higher end tours also give you less freedom, and we really wanted that. So I think it's a trade off. HTH

Re: European Guided Tours
I travelled to Spain and Portugal with Contiki. It is a younger tour and I remember having 2 couples on their HM. We saw alot of cities but it was tiring. Especially waking up early to travel to the next city. Your free time is also limited.
