I had my own place for 6 years. I had roomates for 3 more years before that......and college before that. Anyone else ever have their own place?

Nope. I moved from my parents house into an apartment in the city with a roomate, then into an apartment with DH. So, I've never really been on my own fully.

Yup, I did and I LOVED LOVED LOVED it!!!!! It was the most amazing feeling to own my own place, no one else live there.....just ME!!!! I actually miss it!!!!

Nope. I lived with my parents until DH and I moved in together. With the exception of college where I had anywhere between 1 and 6 roommates depending on year.

Nope, lived at home and moved in with DH when I moved out. I dont think i live alone, I get freaked out pretty easy

Oh yes for 2 years it was sooooo nice to be junky and to eat cold pizza and left overs when I felt like it. Or to eat out and not be so expensive just for me. Now we have to order to 2 and my hubby eats alot.

Although I lived on my parents house until I got married, they're retired and spend the fall through the spring in Florida so I spent my first year out of college basically living by myself, then a year where my brothers were home with me, and then moved in with DH when we got married. I was so lonely living by myself- I'd much rather have company.

I did for a looooong time by myself. From out of college until our engagement.
It's difficult to get used to living with someone again when you are used to doing things your way.
I miss it sometime, but I love my DH and wouldn't trade him for living alone. (Although I wish he was a lot neater)

Yep!
Had a house w/ roomates in college but then lived in my own apt. for a little over a year until DH & I bought a house...then paying rent and a mortgage was insane so I moved back in with the rents...(while house was being fixed)

Not really, but I lived alone in my residence hall at college so that was like having my own mini-apt.
I wanted to move out of my mom's house right after college and live on my own but couldn't find any place decent for what I could afford. So when I met DH we moved in together.
