I mean protection wise. Me & DH have discussed this in the past and it always ends in an argument. lol.
Like once you know that you are DONE having children, what are you going to use for protection within those 20 or so years before menopause (ew).
I, personally, don't want to be on BC anymore and I would hate to have condoms in the house for the children to find and bring to school for show & tell. lol. jk.
I really want DH to consider getting snipped. I just feel like after ALL my body will have gone thru (20 or so years of menstruating, carrying a baby inside of me and GIVING BIRTH - my body will have been through ENOUGH!) I just don't think it would be right for him to expect ME to get my tubes tied or to have to continue BC.
DH gets all iffy about that, so I always threaten to snip it off myself (and i wouldn't know exactly what to snip, so EVERYTHING could go! LOL).
have you guys ever discussed this with your DH or even just secretly THOUGHT about it?

i've thought about it and i've told dh that he's getting snipped. if i'm having his kids, then this is the least he could do

I think DH will get snipped. My dad has, his dad has, and one of his friends is so I think he is ok with it. Also I think it is safer for the guy to get it then the girl right???

i keep telling DH i would like for him to get snipped when we're done having kids. he's very up in the air about it, but i just don't want to be on the pill anymore.

We've spoken about it and he absolutely will not get snipped. I contend that I have to give birth therefore I shouldn't have to get my tubes tied or cut. I think we'll see what happens when the time comes.
as is stands now it looks like i'll be getting my tubes tied.

Yes dh said he will get snipped, but if i have to get a c section and we know that will be our last kid, then i would have them just tie my tubes while there in there

If you do that you will have to look for other means to satisfy your hubby and that could be painful (TMJ, Lockjaw, etc)

I want to get my tubes tied but DH doesnt want that. He says 'its not natural', my response is I dont want to be in my mid forties and have a miracle baby.

no its definately reversible for men- if a woman wants to get it reversed its surgical and less likely to work

DH will get a vasectomy - we've already talked about it - his dad had one totally TMI hahahahaha.....we might bank sperm though b/c u never know if you change your mind or it cant be reversed for some reason.....

I dont believe in it. I dont know why since I am on BC but I just dont think it is something that i would ever do and I know DH wouldnt if i didnt push him
i think it is bc my mom had me 12 years after she was 'done' having kids so i wouldnt be around if she had done it. . .
