I mean protection wise. Me & DH have discussed this in the past and it always ends in an argument. lol.
Like once you know that you are DONE having children, what are you going to use for protection within those 20 or so years before menopause (ew).
I, personally, don't want to be on BC anymore and I would hate to have condoms in the house for the children to find and bring to school for show & tell. lol. jk.
I really want DH to consider getting snipped. I just feel like after ALL my body will have gone thru (20 or so years of menstruating, carrying a baby inside of me and GIVING BIRTH - my body will have been through ENOUGH!) I just don't think it would be right for him to expect ME to get my tubes tied or to have to continue BC.
DH gets all iffy about that, so I always threaten to snip it off myself (and i wouldn't know exactly what to snip, so EVERYTHING could go! LOL).
have you guys ever discussed this with your DH or even just secretly THOUGHT about it?

I like that idea. I know that most men CAN get it reversed, so it's not as though he's giving up all hope of ever having children again (in case you DO decide you want another years later). But what if he can't? That's a good idea to 'save' some.
I would hope that they don't keep it in a regular sperm bank though. What if they grab the wrong one and give it to some random girl and then DH has got kids running around all over? lol Ya see? THESE are the kinds of things I think about. haha.

DH and I talked about it..he will get snipped, because something could always change and he could get it reversed, women cannot.

a ot of woman I work with that are done with kids have IUD's put in. It protects you against pregnancy. I believe you can have the IUD put in during your first period after the baby!
Thats probably what I will do bc i know once you have one baby you are able to easily get pregnant again! Most of the time atleast !!

as is stands now it looks like i'll be getting my tubes tied.
same with us- I would rather not have to get my tubes tied- its more invasive for women than men, plus the male version can be reversed and the female cant
I was always told the male version CAN'T be reversed but the woman's can because it's just stitched together. A woman can also get pregnant this way.
no its definately reversible for men- if a woman wants to get it reversed its surgical and less likely to work
I also heard you would have to be a certain age, bc if you do it at a young age I think I heard you go crazy! But don't take my word, for you ladies thinking of getting your tube tied, make sure you see the Doc. I think I would rather have DH go through any procedure, being he already has kids and after we have kids there should be no reason for him to want any.

The woman I work with had her tubes tied and has had a weight prblem since which she attributes to having them tied. Don't know if it unique to her but I didn't like the sound of that.
I guess DH and I will cross that bridge when we come to it, never discussed .
