Excuse me Newlyweds.. .I have a question about Honeymoon & stress
Hi,not yet married, but I wanted advice form you ladies& not just specualtion.Did any of you have something non-wedding related that was stressing you out before the wedding?
Did you still stress about it on the HM?
I was really looking forward to our HM,but now I am losing my lease & need to find a home & its all I can think about & FH thinks I won't enjoy the HM because I'll be wishing I was home looking at places to live.
We have to move 6 weeks after we return.
Thanks
Donna

We forgot about everything - in our case DH was laid off and I found out I'd be getting laid off by the end of the year. But we refused to let any of it ruin our day or honeymoon.
Don't stress at all - this is the only time in your life you'll be on your honeymoon - ENJOY IT!!!

yea...once you get there, all else is forgotten...I was totally stressing about our living situation (I moved into his parents house 3 months before the wedding and we lived there for 4 months after!)

I doubt you'll be thinking about anything except what to get for your next drink...Just go and have a great time. Six weeks is PLENTY of time to find a new place and move. Don't let it ruin your HM!!!

Thanks--that's what I was hoping. It will still bother me, probably on the last day, but I think I need to try& make an effort to not let it wreck the trip.
I don't know if I'll just forget about it, but I'm hoping I you ladies are right!

Re: Excuse me Newlyweds.. .I have a question about Honeymoon & stress
Right before the wedding I was totally stressed out about work and finishing off a hellish semester of school. We only went away for five days following the wedding--we are taking an extended trip in December, and I was so relaxed. Everything will be okay and you'll have a wonderful honeymoon!

I am sure you will be happy to get away from the stress. I took my HM 3 months after the wedding, and am glad we did we were not as exhausted taking the 8 hour flight from LA to Tahiti, and the other 5 hours cross country from NY to LA. But that was an individual preference. I remember when we finally got to Tahiti, saying to my DH I was so happy we waited to go on our official HM becuase we were so exhausted from the flight and the time change. We did take a mini moon to AC and we were exausted there too.Welcome New Vendors
