Exfoliating

Do you exfoliate your face? If so, what do you use? Mine seems very flakey, like it needs a good scrub. I might go buy the St Yves Apricot one.

St. Ives is great, I use it and DH also likes to sneak using it!

dh & i both love the St. Ives scrub!

yeah my DH uses it too! once a week he uses it though, because he says 'it's too rough for my skin.'

add a spoonful of regular granulated sugar to whatever u wash ur face with Denise told me this a while ago...best thing ever! Put a little in the palm of ur hand w/ur soap/wash..massage w/fingers & then once u like the consistency do 30seconds all over the face. sometimes i'll let mine sit a little before i rinse. but anyways - it's great! estiticians reccomend it, and it doesn't break the bank

it's true! it works AWESOME..infact a majority of spas actually just use sugar in their scrubs

My best friend is an estheican..she is at work now but when I talk to her I am asking her about this sugar! lol

I got Creme De La Mer from Ebay and she yelled at me and told me it ******

it's freaking awesome, its what they used to do MANY years ago. They sell it too though, there are sugar scrubs out there.

I bought the St Ives Apricot scrub, and it was awesome. My face is so smooth.

so do you use dove bar soap?

i just foam up my hands with the dove soap and after i have a certain amount of foam, then i add the sugar and mix it together

I use sugar too, but brown sugar - mixed with olive oil and a little milk. My skin it too sensitive for most brands so I make up my own. It really does add a glow and my makeup goes on much smoother the next day.
