Exfoliating

Exfoliating

Do you exfoliate your face? If so, what do you use? Mine seems very flakey, like it needs a good scrub. I might go buy the St Yves Apricot one.

I haveh eard St. Ives is great. I also got a little bottle with my Bridal Emergency Kit of the Neutrogena I think, Morning Burst cleaner. It has little beads in it, and it smells so good, it really does wake me up. I can't use anything harsh on my face, and this worked for me. Maybe give that a try too?

I use a face wash and spray toner that hydrates my face... I have very super sensitive skin so I can't use a scrub on my face.

Re: Exfoliating

Have you tried clinique's 7 day scrub? I use it like every 3 days, not 7 days b/c my face is really dry. I wash my face and add a dab and work it in w/ my face soap.

Or, clarins has a good one...a bit more gentle.

I also like the Mary Kay one (microdermabrsion). They have a lotion you put on after that is nice too. Its the most expensive of the 3 though.

I wouldn't recommend the St Ives b/c they say that it's natural (ground pits) and the beads arent perfectly round and will tear your skin. The others are man-made and gentler.

I use the one from clean and clear.

I use the scrubby pad called Buf Puf.. I hate the name, but I scrub my face every day with that & dove to avoid that dry flaky feeling..

I don't like the feel of the little bits in the cleansers..

I have the riteaid version of the St. Ives one and I like it a lot better. Not even sure if it's the one made for sensitive skin -- I use it 2x a week and I like it.

I love the St Ives one. I have sensitive skin and it is both gentle and good at exfoliating. I use that about once a week or so. Every three days or so I use the L'oreal Micrdermabrasion Kit...it's great- my skin looks so much younger after I use it It includes a scrub and an after-treatment mositurizer w/SPF 15...I don't always use that moisturizer though, I just use my regular antiwrinkle cream afterwards.
