CRAZY people work there...
I learned about two people's whole life.
I mean, whole life story.
They were nice - well one guy was nice, the other guy was just creepy.
I called the creepy guy back today to place an order and he was telling me about how he traded stock today, shorted them, and made $780. Sat afternoon he was telling me how bad bottled water is (he used to be an engineer) and how the asbestos in schools is not really dangerous but Ground Zero is very dangerous and all the workers are going to die from the air pollution. He was mainly telling me about water bottles and that they obstruct your estrogen level... that they're really dangerous for women. He was telling me because 'I was a cutie' and his daughter's a cutie too.
Then I went to the kitchen design part and was checking out sinks on display and a worker there started telling me his life story - he's a Columbia MBA grad, PHd from some other school and was a banker but was laid off. He's a gourmet cook and switched his whole house to gas because he still has 'contacts' and they told him oil supply is going to be gone real soon - b/c Mexico and Venezuela haven't put any money into their systems. Then he told me I should switch to geo-thermal heat. Random!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was there for literally an hour talking to these two men. Meanwhile - I only wanted to order a sink.
