Ok so I never EVER do smokey eye makeup because I think its heavy for me personally. But I was experimenting with it last weekend as a possibility for the B pics after seeing how well Heather's looked and DH just happened to catch me and looked very interested in it. So I decded to do it as one of the makeup looks.
Originally I used a tutorial but didnt have the colors the artist used so I tried soemthing close to it. Thats look #1.
Look #2 is the colors the tutorial used-a little more dramatic. Which eye look? #2 would have a nude lip too but the lipstick was wrong (long story) so cut out my lip.
Look #1: Lighter 'smokey' eye and nude lips:
Look #2: Dramatic 'smokey' eye (this would eb with a NUDE lip too) BTW NO clue why my foundation looks so light here-same for both pics

I like the darker eye w/ a nude lip. Does you foundation have a sunscreen? If so, that's why your looking lighter in your pics. DO NOT wear that for your bpics!!! I read that on several sites b/c the same thing was happening to me.

You look gorgeous! I agree w/RGVO7. I think go either smokey eye/nude lip OR red lips, more subtle eye. I think it's more dramatic (and sexy) when only one feature really pops.

Thanks guys but you're not helping lol. I need to knwo WHICH smokey eye-they're different. I would do Nude lips as I said with either one. the red lip is simply to cover up my chapped lips lol. IGNORE it.
So I need to know whether you like smokey eye #1 (wearing gray)
or Smokey eye #2-the one that ahs the red lips you should ignore.

Jenn- I might be crazy but I actually don't notice a huge difference in the eyes. I think they look beautiful in both so no matter which one you pick you are going to look smokin!!! Definitely do the nude lip.

Ooo ok. I had no idea about that! THANKS! Now i have to go and double check the bottle. Its odd cause I wore it in both looks and it only looks odd in the red lips one.

The first one has like a more warm pinky hint to the highlighter shade. The second one is more sheer goldy. I wasn't sure if the first one shown with the nude lip was 'smokey' enough. I am usually a tapes and browns kind of girl lol.

Thanks guys. i didn't think there was a difference either but I showed the pics to a friend and she said the first eye was too pink on top (highlighter shade) so thats why I redid it. The second one is not as warm. I tend to like the first eye more but its not as 'smokey'

jen i absolutely love the eyes! i'd only wear the red lipstick for some of the shots, and peek to make sure ur liking how it's showing up. but u look fab!

Whoops, didn't catch that either. I would do the first one...but add a little more gray close to the lash line to smoke it up a bit more.

Thanks Krista. Thats what Im thinking too. I think the highlighter for the second one is too white for me. I get a weird cast to my skin.
