Favorite Books?

I'm always looking for the next book to read. Do you ladies have any suggestions?

what do you like?
Have you ever read THE RED TENT?

It is an excellent book.

Another one of my all time favorites is GIRL WITH A PEARL EARRING.

My favorite author is Leon Uris, and my favorite boo ever written is EXODUS.
Other books by that author include THE HAJ, THE IRISH LADY, and A GOD IN RUINS.

All of them are excellent! If you tell me more about what genre you like, I can make more suggestions.

I just finished THE POWER OF ONE, and I really liked it.

I am definitely going to get 'Schultz & Peanuts' when it comes out on Oct. 16th. I am a huge Charlie Brown fan. Can't wait to read the backstory.

I love all books by Jane Green! She's an amazing writer, a best seller- very funny! My favorite is 'The Other Woman'- about mother in-laws!

My friend Danielle was reading 'Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands'- Said it's good!

I just bought all 3- I heard they're fantastic. I'm gonna start them as soon as I finish reading Babyville by Jane Green

Is there a specific order to read them in?

I loved A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers. I read it first about 5 years ago I think and have read it again and again.
I love David Sedaris. All of his books are great Naked and Me Talk Pretty One Day are probably the most popular.
I'm sure you had read these for a paper in 9th grade but I still love them Catcher in the Rye, To Kill a Mockingbird and Dorian Gray, I love Oscar Wilde he is a complete nut. Lastly The Outsiders even though it may be 4th grade reading level I still love it.

Oh I almost forgot High Fidelity by Nick Hornby. I was once living with 9 priests all over the age of 80 for about 2 months and that was the only source of entertainment I had. I think I read it about 14 times.

OK! I have to ask: Why were you living with 9 priests over the age of 80!?
