Color Purple was by far the BEST I've ever seen; tied with FIddler on the Roof

Re: Favorite Broadway show
Are we listing fave Broadway shows running right now or all time?
Running right now- Hairspray. Haven't see Jersey Boys but dying to. Love Avenue Q too.
As far as all time though- my very favorite production I ever saw was Carousel years ago at Lincoln Center. I was BAWLING.
Les Mis I saw 9 times. I'm so sick of it now though.
My favorite show ever- and to be in - is My Fair Lady.
And any Sondheim musical is the BEST to perform in.
Broadway has so changed since the days I dreamed of being there...

Re: Favorite Broadway show
Sweeney Todd (Love Love Sondheim) I Am My Own Wife (AMAZING!) Light In The Piazza (cried my eyes out)
I think the most amazing experience I have ever had in a theatre was seeing Mary Zimmerman's adaption of Ovid's Metamorphoses. Just perfect in every way.

Definitely RENT -- I'm a little obsessed... seen it 5 times this year alone! I've seen some others but Rent is the only one I keep going back to. I reallly want to see Wicked & Avenue Q... I've heard they're both great.
