We used to hang in Astoria all the time because DH used to live in Woodside and our friends lived in Astoria. Now we're near Forest Hills so Cabana is so close! And Jardin de China we were introduced to just a couple of years ago actually! We were just at Cabana on Columbus Day - yummmmmmmmmm.

Were always in Astoria too cause were so close. And I also lived in FH thats how I found Cabana. I wish they would open a location in Astoria Cabana is our date restaurant, anytime we have off together on the weekends we get our butts over there. And their lunch specials are amazing! So much food for so cheap. Now Im getting hungry!!

Shut up, lunch specials??? lol! We've only been there for dinner! We like the one in the city too (on 3rd ave between 61st and 62nd) - they recently completely renovated it and it looks so nice!

YES!! on the weekdays until like 3 or 4pm! We love the one in the city too but I dont know if weve been to that one since the renovations. They really need to renovate the one in FH though. The way they have that place set up is just not smart! It gets so packed that no one can pass! I always say they should get rid of one of the restaurants next door, expand it and make a dance floor to dance salsa!!

LIC/Astoria girls - you have to try Da Gianni's in LIC. Amazing Italian, Gianni owns and runs the place, and the walls are Venetian plaster. In the summer there is an outdoor garden in the back and its sooo lovely!
