LIC/Astoria girls - you have to try Da Gianni's in LIC. Amazing Italian, Gianni owns and runs the place, and the walls are Venetian plaster. In the summer there is an outdoor garden in the back and its sooo lovely!
where in LIC? Oh boy I think we have the best Italian restaurants! When I go elsewhere it always feels like fake Italian.

trust me, you woul dwalk right by the place. there is absolutely nothing else on the block, its all industrial or something. then this awesome italian place in the middle of no where. the grilled shrimp is SOOOO good! and the tartufo is to die for. they don't always have it though.
seems like there's a bunch of us in LIC/Astoria. we should have a newlywed GTG!

i had no idea about this place, thanks for the recommendation. By the address I know where it is, just never saw it.

Yes!! I know, I'm obsessed with those soup dumplings (pork buns). I go to the one in flushing, but there is also two in the city!
