Favorite Wedding Detail

what was your favorite detail when it came to your 'look'? was it your shoes? earrings? anything unique? something blue? something borrowed?

i think my favorite was my thomas knoell headpiece or my veil....its probably a tie between those two - its hard to choose - the only reason i didn't leave my veil on was b/c i didn't want to hide my thomas knoell haircomb which was in the back of my hair - i loved that piece too....i felt so sparkly in my veil - and its funny b/c i was so indecisive about choosing a veil - it was so simple and it really sparkled so nice in the light - the funny thing is that it was the same veil my SIL wore except hers was cathedral length! my MIL helped me pick it out and neither of us realized it was the same veil!

MY DRESS AND SHOES (THEY WERE SOOOOOO SEXY), BUT I HAD TO TAKE THEM OF WITH ALLY MY DANCING!

I loved my headpiece (but I had to give it back last week )

I LOVED my shoes. I was having the hardest time finding what I loved and that would match my dress. I kept going to these shoes and finally ordered them and they were perfect!

My veil. It was perfect. I kept it in all night and it didn't even bother me. It was the perfect touch.

I equally love my cathedral veil because it had lots of details that I didn't have on my gown and all of my DOJ from Thomas Knoell especially the Elegance headpiece.

i should have clarified - i mean besides your dress.....i figured everyones favorite would be their dress - i meant something else - like a detail that was your favorite

Okay.....then it would be my headpiece which I love and my red shoes

my headband and my earrings....at least i have been able to wear my earrings again and will be able to lots more, but it makes me sad that i can't wear my headband again

I'd have to say my gown, I am absolutely in love with it. Kleinfelds was phenomenal, Josephine did an amazing job. I'm definitely going to put it on one more time before I get it preserved. Ugh I want to have my wedding all over again except knowing what I know now....lol

I know you said besides the dress, but I LOVED mine. The women at my boutique used to joke that they've never seen a bride who loved her dress more than me... I tried it on for ALL of my bridesmaids...lol.

So other than that, my bracelet that my mom bought me right before the wedding. And the piece from her wedding gown that she pinned underneath mine for good luck!

Probably my dress (even though I was pi-ssed with the alterations) - I still loved it! And my hair...if that counts as a detail!

same!!! I LOVED my dress I was so upset that the bustle didnt stay though so I had to carry my train.

i also LOVED my makeup. It was so natural and stunning. I glowed all day!

hahaha i wore my earrings again too! i actually wore them on new years eve - i was so excited to wear them again

DH and i saw bride wars on sunday and it made me want to go home and put on all of my wedding things - including my dress as soon as the movie ended i looked at him and told him that i wanted to go home immediately so i could dress up again

but i didn't - my dress is still in a bag on the floor of my closet hahaha

My necklace and earrings.

They were made by my mother's cousin as a shower gift. The special part is she collected crystal from the women of previous generations. The crystal is from Czech and Austria.

Gorgeous and sentimental!
