what was your favorite detail when it came to your 'look'? was it your shoes? earrings? anything unique? something blue? something borrowed?
i think my favorite was my thomas knoell headpiece or my veil....its probably a tie between those two - its hard to choose - the only reason i didn't leave my veil on was b/c i didn't want to hide my thomas knoell haircomb which was in the back of my hair - i loved that piece too....i felt so sparkly in my veil - and its funny b/c i was so indecisive about choosing a veil - it was so simple and it really sparkled so nice in the light - the funny thing is that it was the same veil my SIL wore except hers was cathedral length! my MIL helped me pick it out and neither of us realized it was the same veil!

i LOVED my red shoes they looked great with my dress. But I also LOVED my dress. If I could wear it around again I would.
um...I wasn't in love with how I was going to wear my hair, but the day of I changed what I wanted with the help of Jenn and she did an amazing job I just loved it.
Oh and I loved loved my earrings. Cannot wait to wear them again!

My dress - I went with an unconventional light gold color instead of white or ivory. At 41, I wasn't quite 'pure' enough to wear white to my own wedding although I did wear a veil.
It was a flattering color for me and in the candlelight it absolutely glowed.

My dress and my earrings....
my earrings were gorgeous, I will try and look for a closeup pic of them...I went to DH's jeweler (where we got our rings from) and he let me 'borrow' a very expensive pair of earrings, so they turned out to be my something borrowed as well...and it didn't cost a dime, we just returned them before we left for the HM.

my veil!!! i loved my veil. it was so long and beautiful....and it didnt bug me like i thought it would. i wish i kept it on a little longer.
i also 'd the way my hair came out. i was so nervous about it and it getting frizzy but it ended up looking great!

I loved my veil. At first i didn't care about having a veil and thought i would only wear it for our 15 minute ceremony. But after trying several on and seeing what a difference it made, i fell in love with one! I ended up wearing my veil all night.

umm...well since it can not be my dress, i will have to say my veil and DOJ.... do you know that i did not decide my DOJ until like 7:00pm the night b/4. I wore my mother's pearls and tennis bracelet and then at around 9 we ran to the mall b/c i needed earrings!!!!
Mt Tiara i loved from the very start, if i could i would wear it to work!!!! I <3 Thomas!

I loved my shoes and my borrowed hair flower. (Other than my dress of course)

My dress!!!!!!!!!!!! Even though my bustle kept coming out and we couldn't get it to look like it did at the store....it was gorgeous (IMO!)
My hair was so pretty in the morning, but with that FL heat it ended up super duper curly even before the cermeony and not what I imagined...but oh well!!
My veil was pretty gorgeous too-didn't take it off all night!
