FEDALI rave.. a mini review
So finally, here I go.
I have been getting a lot of FMs about my experience with Fedali. Let me begin by saying that Oksana & Alyana are the BEST sister team I have ever met in my life. They are amazing at what they do. They are so incredibly talented & have an amazing eye for photography.
I was very apprehensive leading up to my 'Big Flirt' boudoir shoot with Fedali. I booked in January and got a last minute opening in March. Fedali was so helpful during the planning process. They were always accesible and always responded immediately to any email I sent them. They were excellent!
The day of the shoot was a disaster. Let's just preface it by saying that that morning we had to 'spring ahead' and change our clocks, so I was not a bright eyed & bushy tailed client. Plus it was a Sunday morning so I was also stuck doing my own hair & m/u. I was miserable. Thank god I have Melissa as a friend. She was willing to make the trip to Manhattan with me to be my chaperone & support staff. Needless to say I woke up 30 mins late, rushed my makeup, and hopped on an 8:55 train to NYC. We got into Penn @ 10:10ish, grabbed some coffee and jumped a cab to the apartment studio.
We got there at about 10:30ish and waiting with the cool a$$ doorman. Very friendly! Even as I was leaving 2.5 hours later, he still remembered my name.. I wish I remembered his![]()
Oksana, Alyana, if you read this- tell the doorman he's great too!
The whole way to the apartment I thought I was going to vomit. Promptly at 10:55 Oksana called me up to her apartment on the 21st floor.. BEAUTIFUL VIEW
The minute I walked in I felt comfortable around Oksana and Alyana. They hugged me, welcomed me, and immediately made me feel like a close friend. Trust me, I was still shaking and they noticed that. Right off the bat they offered me water, wine, coffee; anything to make me comfy. I took the wine![]()
We went right to work, or should I say Melissa & the Fedali team went right to work looking through my bag & finding their favorite outfits for me to wear. At that point in time, I just wanted to be a paperdoll that they dressed & posed. I was terrified. They sent me into the bathroom to change into my 1st outfit, a more conservative outfit. This they hoped would help me gain confidence for later on in the shoot.
The shoot went so smoothly. The whole time they were laughing, joking around, and complimenting me- all to make sure I felt 100% at ease, which I absolutely did.
Their prices are so reasonable & that was a major selling point for me. Looking back on it now, I would spend any amount of money just to have my photos taken by them again. Had they been more expensive, they would be worth EVERY PENNY and I would still book with them. No price tag could ever be put on the comfort and boost of confidence they gave me.
My pictures came out amazing and their work speaks for themselves. Their artistry, professionalism, compassion, friendly nature is apparent in all they do.
