so they started building our new home, dh met with the heating men today, were getting geo thermo heat. but I get off work everyday at 2:00 and when dh gets off he goes strait there, never invites me. if I call him he sez he is going over things with the builder and will call back, never does. then comes home and he is tired. I am feeling so left out of things, he barely gives me any details. WOW, I got to pic the big beautiful window for the living room. I do not even feel if it is my house to anymore. am I being selfish? I just want to be included, and for dh to have a little time for me.

Where are you building your house? I would feel left out too....I would talk to your DH and tell him and say you know he's tired at night but maybe if he could give you 15 mins to a half hour to discuss what went on during the day? Maybe over dinner???

Tell your DH you want to go with him you don't need an invite from your dh. By going you will be more involved .

Oh i love PA! I'm from Lehigh county...where is sommerset?
I agree...don't do the girl thing and wait to be invited. It's your house too so just say you're going.

agreed. make sure he knows you want to be involved and just start showing up and maybe talking with the builder yourself as well!

He probably doesn't even realize that he's doing it or that you want to be involved. I would sit down and talk to him about it and ask him if he could include you and/or discuss the decisions that he's made. It should feel like your home too! Good luck!
