i'm actually home today, but being by myself is making me feel really bummed.. today, back in 2001 one of my REALLY good friends took her own life Marisa was such an amazing person & was really just a light in so many lives...i still can't understand that with all the people who loved her that she felt she had no where else to turn..
just thinking of her today as i always do..but today i'm missing her smile & funny jokes more than ever...keep her family in your prayers as she was survived by her parents, grandparents & her little sister..
Why dont you share with us some happy stories of you and Marissa to make you feel better?

Honestly there are just SO many to tell! I'm actually really feeling just...well i guess 'meloncholly' would be the right term?? Thinking of her ALWAYS makes me laugh & smile because she was always doing something nutty to make everyone laugh..but then it makes me sad because i just miss her & wish she was around..i think i may get together with a few friends later to just hang out & talk about our memories..watch some videos & look at some photo albums.. but as happy as her memories make me, it's just so sad because her life ended in such a tragic way...she wasn't sick, it wasn't an accident. She felt so sad & alone & lost that she took her fate into her own hands...she was only 19 at the time...and there were just SO many of us who loved her...i guess that's what gets me down and my heart breaks for her family every year during the holidays...
but for now - i can do nothing but think of the happy times to make the day a little brighter EVERY memory i have of her is a happy one..and that in itself is a blessing thanks for letting me talk a little bit! i know it's a tragic/sad subject... but i feel better when i can vent a little

We're all here for you. I think that is a great idea to get together with some friends to reminisce tonight. It will be great for you to be around people which love her and miss her just like you do.

So sorry Taryn! Sounds like she was a wonderful person and it's beautiful that friends like you still honor her! That's the way it should be. Many hugs to you because I can't imagine how sad it is, but it's truly lovely that you are honoring her memory by thinking of her and sharing a bit about her with us.

I am so deeply sorry Taryn prayers to you and her family to get through this rough day
sounds like she was a beautiful person who touched the lives of everyone around her and will continue to live in all of your hearts. I know its hard to do but today honor her by remembering all the great memories and having the memory of her live on forever. I am sure that today she would rather see you smile remembering her rather than see you sad.
