so, I was out sick for a freaking week with coxsackie. Yeah yeah, I know - 'adults don't get coxsackie.' Bulsh!t - they do & it suucks.
ANYWAY, I thought I was completely healed but.... My hands & feet are PEELING. Not like, oh I had a sunburn peel, but like THICK lizard-like peeing. Like as if I burnt my hands on an iron. So effing nasty. This is the disease that never ends.

no, there is nothing for it. It just has to run its course. You can take Motrin for the pain. Its SUUUCKED. I was sitting home alone for a week doing nothing but itching.

I have a friend who LIVES in Coxsackie, NY - it's in the Catskills!!! That's hilarious, I can't wait to tell her. BTW - I've always heard it called 'Hand Foot & Mouth Disease' when it goes around school. It's making a huge comeback along with 'Fifths Disease' which is slightly less gross, but equally difficult to say.

I'm sorry that you had to deal with that Caroline. I hope that you are feeling better. Everytime I hear that someone has pink eye I step back and be cafeful what I touch because I remember having as a child and my dad putting medication in my eye. No fun.
