Final count and seating chart...NEED HELP!

crashing......

I am giving my venue about 2-3 people less than my final count. I know for a fact I will have at least 2 no-shows. The only thing is, how do I do the seating chart?? And what do I do if these people show up???

Re: Final count and seating chart...NEED HELP!

Is there a specific reason you're counting them as definite no shows? If there is even a chance they'll show (RSVP'd yes) then I would include them in a table. That is just me! You could always invite 2 other stand ins at the last minute. I had my brother invite 2 of his friends that we grew up with at the last minute and it worked out well.

Bottom line - I don't think you can count on people not showing up and go so far as to not include them in a table if they RSVP'd yes.....unless there is more to it.

Some of my family members can be very unreliable and dont understand the concept that for a wedding, you pay per plate beforehand. I think your right tho, its a tricky situation. I may just give my final count as 2 less and if I have no cancellations by like 2 days before, I'll tell them I had 2 last minute RSVP's.
