Finally figured out what is wrong with me

I went for my follow up appointment with my MRI's today and found out that I tore my labrum in my hip. Whatever that is. All I know is its painful. I have no idea how i pulled that off. My mother swears its crazy sex positions. She is out of her mind.

I need surgery to fix it however my doctor told me there arent many specialists that do this surgery often and does not want to send me to someone that has only done it a handful of times. I am going to do PT for a month as he calls specialists for me and figures out who to send me to.

This is the same surgery Arod had, would love to go to his doc but hes in Colorado....oh and I'm not Arod so I doubt he cares about me and my busted hip.

Im really bummed out about this.

Well, on the bright side, at least you have a diagnosis and a PLAN! This is good news! I'm sorry you are in pain and you will no doubt be in more - but now you know what's going on and you can work from here to get better!

Well at least you know what is wrong with you and now its who is going to fix you...I hope the pain is bearable at least until the surgery.

the sex positions is just funny...I wonder if the 'pile driver' position causes that, LOL!!!

I recently had to go OOS for surgery, so I share your furstration. I hope the PT helps your symptoms, in the meantime.

I am so sorry that you are still in so much pain BUT at least you finally know what is causing it and have a plan (like the other girls said )

WOW JENNY!!

Just wow!! I will say... I'm SOOOO HAPPY they FINALLY figured out what the problem is!! That's really a great step!!! It's one of the most important ones.

Good luck with the surgery and finding a dr. I wish I knew of one to refer you to. It's great that your doctor is going to find a good doctor to do the surgery for you.

Please keep us posted. I wish you a speedy find for a doctor and a speedy recovery. I'm sooooo sorry you are in pain.

I'm so sorry you're still in pain, but hopefully the p/t will help and you'll start to feel so much better!

Even if you don't go to arod's doc, maybe you'll end up with another specialist. My dad had hand surgery done by Derek Jeter's doctor and that was in Manhattan!

well i guess the silver lining is u know what wrong...

i hope you can get the surgery fixed asap and if i knew a rod i would ask him for the doc's number

Oh no! That's good and bad news I guess...it must be a relief to finally know what's wrong with you, even if it's annoying to get it fixed.

Awww Jen! I'm so sorry about all of this...like i told you earlier, hang in there, try not to worry, it will all work out and you will be good as new soon! Let me know ifyou want me to ask my sister about different docs!

Oh man Jenny - Im so sorry honey....

but you need to correct your mother & tell her it's not crazy sex positions, its just overuse of the sex swing you have in your bedroom....lol

On the serious side - I am happy to know they have it figured out & are working on getting you the best surgeon possible. Sending lotsa prayers & love your way!!!
