Financial Tip

I recc checking out EmigrantDirect.COM...its a money market account..when the market was good I was getting over a 6% return now its down to 2.75%...which is still good considering its a money market so it's liquid not tied up like a CD....Just thought I d mention it since we have wedding money we may want to invest but be safe with in this market this is a nice solution (I thnk so) HTH

eta: Its called the 'American Dream Account'

ING is at 2.75% and if you open an account at HSBC- I think its 3% online- those are regular not money market

anyone else found good rates?

i have two american dream accounts - one for me and one for our wedding money/house fund. also got a CD through them. I agree, it's one of the better returns out there and low/no risk.

Yeah those accounts are good..and I do have money in locked accounts like CD's but this is great bc if you need money you can get it...I hate tying up ALL my money so I think of this as a checking account that gains interest..I made good interest last month too
