when I met hubby he was wearing a hat, so then he took it off, and he had no HAIR
I was like...oh my god !!!!!

Now I LOVE it, in fact I remind him that his peach fuzz is getting long.

Re: First impression when you first met your husband.

We met while we were both college students, me a business major and Nick a techie major at Pace University, New York in the Computer Lab. Nick flirted with me to get my attention while on duty in the lab tossing my student identification card on the floor and making me bump my head from the registration desk to pick it up. After the Fall 1996 semester ended, we sat next to each other in the lab sending emails to each other where I’ve given Nick my phone number and told him I was free during the Christmas 1996 break. He’d asked me out and we went to a local sports bar for dinner on a bitter cold December evening of a New York winter as our first date.

From this, my first impression was that he was 'the a*** in the lab' with my student ID card incident as described above. However, he's cute in trying so hard to flirting at me to get my attention. I didn't want to be hurt again, but since he's trying to my attention I'd thought I'd give him a try. That was six (6) years and 3 months ago from our first date, now we're happily married!

Re: First impression when you first met your husband.

I was sitting at a table at a bar with my girlfriends and this dorky guy was hitting on us. I guess you could tell by our faces that we weren't interested at all. My DH (who I did not know at the time) was across the bar and saw this too. He came over, put his arm around me and asked the guy to leave his wife and her friends alone. The guy apologized and left. So my first impression was that he was a psycho, now I think he may have had ESP!

I totally don't really remember my first impression -he was just my friends brother and not typically my type looks wise at all.

A couple years later we met again and we were both single (I kind of was) and he won me over with his personality.

I remember thinking '**** I wish I didn't have a boyfriend' and 'too bad my boyfriend's this guys buddy!' There was an instant attraction that we tried to ignore for years (given that I was his friends girl).

I thought he was really good looking, but he was so dark (it was September and he's Sicilian) that I had no clue what he was! I thought he was American Indian!! LOL I joke around w/him now because all he kept telling me was 'I have to go to the bathroom' -- we met at the San Gennaro Feast for those that don't know -- and finally I said to him 'would you go already for god's sake!' LOL

On our first date, I noticed what a cute butt he had!! And he was much quieter then me and I thought we were TOTAL opposites -- but that's not true now!!!

When I first say FH, I liked his face but I was more into darker complexion (he's Irish) and darker hair!

He sent drinks over to my friend and me, and then came over to chat. My first thought was 'he's cute, but waaaay too sure of himself'.
Turns out, I LIKE self assured men!

YUM. MEEEEEE.

HEHE....it was something like that! I still get butterflies in my stomach when I think about the first time I saw him. We hit it off instantly, talked about marriage within a month and got *officially* engaged after 8 months.

I still thank God every single day for bringing him into my life!!!

'This guy is a character....' my husband is very funny in a corny, cutsey way.

A few first thoughts:

he was tall
had gorgeous baby blues
held an interesting coversation
was mysterious about what he did for a living.

It all panned out as I got to know him. He just didn't want me to get teh wrong first impression :)
