I first thought - what a freak! LOL

He's an eccentric guy, and has no qualms about his personality at times. It's quite refreshing, and one of the things I now love most about him.

I was knocked out by his big, blue eyes, and his laugh-which I heard clear across the bar.

He insists he saw me first

DH and I met online but did not meet one another in person until we had been chatting for about 3 months. We were just friends and it wasn't even a date. We just decided to meet for lunch. My best friend asked me afterward what I thought of him and my reaction was 'Really nice guy, we could be great friends but not really boyfriend material'. Well I was right that we could be great friends, and I am sooooo very glad that I was wrong about the boyfriend material! Not only great boyfriend material but now an awesome hubby too.

Lisa - That's right!! - yep, DH's friend is pretty eccentric as well! Is your sister with anyone now??!! DH's friend is with someone now, but you never know....!

there was an instant attraction to my husband when I first meet him that I kissed him the minute that we meet and there was this spark that I knew that this was the real thing!!! We have been together ever since!!!

I felt like I met him before - but I never did. In retrospect, I think it was a deeper connection. We started out as friends and we just fell in love. It still amazes me....

The night we met, I pulled up to my friends house and he was sitting on the stoop. I thought to myself, hmmmmm, he's cute. Then he opened his mouth and proceeded to say a series of stupid things so I was like hmmmmm, maybe not.

It took the entire summer before I even gave him another chance at conversation...

I thought 'Thank God this other guy is here to talk to' becuase I was trying to escape his irritating friend that would not stop hitting on me even after I lied to him and told that I had a boyfriend that I loved. After talking for a while and having one of my friends divert the attention of his stalker-friend, I realized how cute he was

My first thought was 'Who's that guy playing drums over there? He's a cute one!'
Too bad at the time I was seeing someone and so was he. A few months later we were both available, and the rest is history!

Actually, I met Rob at the gym and at first, I only noticed him as the guy with the blue and orange pants , he was cute, but I couldn't be bothered, I wasn't into anyone at the time. It took him three months to come up to me and we went on a first date - that was it, again, I wasn't into getting into a relationship at the time and he just got out of a LT one.

A year later, on my Grandma's birthday, we bumped into each other at Penn Station - he was decked out in a suit and boy, I thought he was just so handsome! He called me that night - we kissed three nights later ... yadda yadda yadda () ... !

I thought it was a snob and sort of a tight @ss.

He's loosened up quite a bit in the last 3 years that we've been togehter though.
He was also really nerdy because he wore these HUGE glasses. That was his 'look' for about a year.
Then one day he deciede to grow a goatee.
Changed everything

After we started dating, I made him cut his hair really short and revamped the entire wardrobe.
It's night and day.
Sometimes all they need is a fresh coat of paint.

Re: First impression when you first met your husband.

When I first met him, I thought we were total opposites. He was a guido and I was a metal head. We met while participating in carshows and I looked on him like competition, because we were often in the same class. One day while I was cleaning my car at a show, he came over and talked to me. I sort of blew it off because I thought he was patronizing me (telling me my car was cool, etc.). He told me he broke up with his girlfriend and I felt bad for him. I started to see the real him and he walked away. One of his friends girlfriends came over to me and started questioning me, asking if I was interested or not. I thought she was kidding, but as the day wore on and we would sneak glances at each other, it became apparent that we were interested in each other. I don't know why I was appealing to him - I looked terrible (dirty, wearing old workclothes, dirty nails, etc.). But he was neatly dressed with his cute little satin carshow jacket and perfect hair. I thought 'Why not?'.

We were set up by mutual friends. I did get to see a picture of him before hand. We met at a birthday party for another mutual friend and we both knew it was a set up.

I was so nervous for him to show up. When he finally did I just melted. He has beautiful green eyes and a great smile. We connected right away.

I had planned to go out to dinner with friends that night so that if things were not going well I would have an excuse to get the heck out of there.

Well I still went to dinner with my friends but the whole time I was rushing them through dinner so we could go back to the party.

That night he walked me home, two days later he called me for a date we talked until 3 in the morning. The rest is history. It will be seven years in September (and 2 years of marriage).

My first impression -- who is the cutie in the bridal party? He was dark and lovely, and his smile melted my heart.

When I first met DH I thought he wasn't my type in any way. But, he pursued a friendship with me and within a month I realized we could be best friends. By 2 months, we were falling in love and knew we would end up married, so we started dating.

When I first met my FH me and my best firend both said nice ass. Then we realized he had a girlfriend . But two years later I got to see up close and personal what a great ass he had.

But really he has the greatest sense of jhumor and is the sweetest person you will ever meet.
