Re: fondue places
BUT if you are willing to drive about 15-20 mins from the city, there is a melting pot in bergen county, NJ. Dh and I went to that one, and from queens it took us about 20-25 mins to get to so really was not a bad trip at all.

I went yesterday thank you. Yeah i didnt even feel it when they pulled out the tooth. Hurt after though but i took ibuprofen 800mg when i got home and did the trick lol

Yeah i've been to the LI one too. Its alot bigger than the one i went to in bergen county. I was thinking for some reason that she will be in manhattan so the jersey one would be closer lol duh but then i realized she is from queens so the LI won't be that bad. I am also in Queens and doesn't take THAT long to get to that one.

well first you have a cheese appetizer. On the menu theres about 8 different types of cheese fondues. On the table there is a burner, and the waiter comes over and mixes the ingredients in front of you to do the cheese fondue and then you are given dishes with things to dip into the cheese fondue. Then next you get a choice of salad. Then main entree which they have different versions. We always get the one that has some seafood like shrimp and lobster and also has meat such as chicken, pork, beef, and so on and even has ravioli's, they also give you vegetabels. You pick which type of sauce you want it in, you have about 3 or 4 choices i forgot and they make that sauce in front of you but its only 1 you pick. Then yeah you are given the fondue forks and you put the piece of seafood, meat, vegetables into the fondue pot and let it cook for a few mins. You also get lots of other condiments on the side such as teriyaki sauce, bbq and many other things. Then there is dessert, they also have lots of chocolate choices for this and again they mix it in front of you. And then you get plates with things to dip into the chocolate. Such as fruit, brownies, poundcake, cheesecake, graham crackers and much much more.

LOL, i will say that I enjoy the cheese and dessert fondue more than the main entree one. DOn't get me wrong it's good too but not like OMG how good is this. The cheese fondue is amazing though, and dessert is good too.
