Probably like two weeks after the wedding. I called Verizon to ask a question about our phone plan and the girl on the phone said 'Your husband uses bla bla minutes per month.'

Re: for all the married ladies!!!!!
When we were on our honeymoon and DH just casually introduced me to someone as his wife...I was like...oh yeah.....that's me!! I think once I finally officially change my name it will really hit me.

on my honeymoon when everyone was calling me Senora Ramos.
I dealt with all the honeymoon planning so they were actually calling us Mr. and Mrs. Barclay or Senor Barclay. It was actually pretty funny because DH was like what the hell lol he was so confused. But when I worked wth Travel Tom he must have booked everything under my name not DH's lol

Re: for all the married ladies!!!!!
it hit me a little bit on the honeymoon when DH introduced me to someone as his wife.
But actually right now this past week it has really hit me because DH is back in Japan and I miss him sooo much and know that the wedding is all over and we are trying to move into our apt so it is now becoming all real. I think I miss him more now that we have the title husband and wife than when he was in Japan more haha

no, it has.....in little ways here and there....
on the HM i was waiting for a ride and DH left for a minute and of course that is when our ride arrived - so i had to tell the woman that we had to wait for my......'husband'......and that was the first time i called him that and i felt like an idiot, like i was saying it wrong and it was like WOW i can't believe it.....
i dont know, i still was getting used to being a fiancee and now i am a wife! so weird!
it feels good to be married, feels different a little....but i dont think its settled in 100% yet....i still have to take his name - i think when i start going by Mrs. Mulligan it will sink in more...

Re: for all the married ladies!!!!!
Definitely the first time we referred to each other as our husband or wife... or when a family member or friend or coworker asked something about 'my husband'. That's when it hit me!

Re: for all the married ladies!!!!!
since me & DH used to have a long distance relationship, I'd come out to Co and spend weeks with him at a time. Now that we're finally sharing a house, it just kind of still feels like how it did when we spent the Summer together.
I think it doesn't feel 'real' yet because I'm still carrying my stupid maiden name and signing it on bills & such. Once my name is changed, THEN it's gonna feel more real. I guarantee it!!!

At the school I teach at when my former students came in to say hi and called me by my maiden name, then quickly corrected themselves I was like, it's OK....I miss my old name sometimes!!!!!!!!!! I'm still not used to my new name and it's been...172 days

Re: for all the married ladies!!!!!
At the church while taking the family photos. The photographer kept calling me by my new last name and I kept looking at my mother in law to respond, finally he said my name and told me he had been calling me for a photo

Exact same thing happened to us! I haven't changed my name, and am not sure I am going to until we have kids. I think it just hit me a few days ago that we are married! Its going to be our 6 month anniversary tomorrow. I guess its good that not tooo much has changed - we lived together before
