I am going to Maui and Kauai. I was thinking of adding on two days in Honolulu and losing one day from Kauai. Did anyone go there? If you did, what is there to do and where did you stay.

We went to Hawaii for our honeymoon and I loved Kauai the most - so relaxing and 'authentic'. But, I would def. take a day to spend in Honolulu. It is completely worth it to see Pearl Harbor and just walk aorund the city for a night. Can you take any time away from Maui? I found Maui to be pretty, but extremely overrated.

Demetra ... I totally agree about Mauii. We thought the same, that it was entirely overrated. I would take my day from Mauii instead of Kauaii.
I loved this book that was recommended by some of the girls here & it was soooo helpful! It's Frommer's book & I haven't seen anything that's more complete & has very up to date info on restaurants, activities & hotels!
