For those of you who have gone to Vegas

I need to know if this is a good price:

Sunday to Thursday - last week of February - staying at the Venetian, nonstop flight on Jet Blue - 2 people, including tax and all that other junk - $1315

DH and I don't travel often so I don't know if this is good - I think it is but I know you girls are really great w/ stuff like this

Thanks for the input!

It sounds slightly high to me, but I haven't been in 3 yrs so I can be wrong. I'd book it anyway

Re: For those of you who have gone to Vegas

Thanks girls!!! And yes Jenn - I'm booking it. I actually called back and extended the trip another day b/c w/ the extra day the airfare was the same so I'm just paying for the extra night in the hotel.

Finally I get to go on my honeymoon - so excited. I can't wait to go.

VEGAS BABY!!!!!!!!!

Re: For those of you who have gone to Vegas

I paid about that for 2 nights at the Bellagio 2 weeks ago! Go for it! The Venetian has the world biggest standard hotel room!

Enjoy JetBlue!

WOOHOO!

Re: For those of you who have gone to Vegas

Not that bad especiall for the Venetian. Did you contact the Venetian directly? DH constantly emailed them until they setted for $119 per night for the days we were staying. I suggest you sign up for their newsletters, they send out great rates every month.

Re: For those of you who have gone to Vegas

Actually, Bellagio was the most expensive - over $200 more for the 5 days.

I feel like its my honeymoon and Vegas is cheap enough to 'splurge' for deluxe accomodations. DH and I are in DESPERATE need of pampering and something special. The rooms are huge - 650 square feet!!!! We will definitely enjoy it.

I actually contacted the hotel and they quoted me a much higher price than the travel agent but thanks Latina - I will definitely get on their mailing list!!!!

Re: For those of you who have gone to Vegas

when you are there you have to eat in the Italian resturant in the Ventian that is in the square.. that was great .. and the Mexican resturant that is right on the canal ... if yoiu make reservations tell them you want canal seating... it is great and really cool.

My BIL and FSIL ate at the chinese fusion place ands they likes that too...

Re: For those of you who have gone to Vegas

Talking about restaurants...you have to eat at Emeril's restaurant Delmonico's @ the Venetian. Expensive but soooo worth it. YUMMY!

Re: For those of you who have gone to Vegas

Don't forget to make reservations a couple of weeks in advance. The place is always booked. I was lucky to get a reservation for one of the nights I was there for 9pm.

Re: For those of you who have gone to Vegas

I think that price seems fair. Venetian is a gorgeous hotel and pretty expensive and jetblue is always good with the tvs, makes the time go by quicker. HAVE A GREAT TIME!!!!
