Did you order prints of all your proofs, too? Or just the ones you want to frame or for your album?
I was thinking of ordering inexpensive prints of all our proofs..well,, just to have them I guess and also to help me visualize the album better...I told my FH and he thinks I'm nuts I was looking at some framed pictures my MIL ordered and the pictures really look different printed out than in the tiny thumbails on my PC
Just wonderin' if anyone else did this...

Re: For those that received your proofs on a disc
I had 1,400 proofs on disc so I would be NUTS to print them all out to see them
Do what you want....at 12 cents or so its not too much of a dent and when youre done with them, give them to family members and save yoru faves for yourself

Re: For those that received your proofs on a disc
my photographer gave us both proofs and all the original files on 2 DVD's.
I uploaded all my favorites to various websites and bought duplicates, enlargements, etc.
and I agree... the actual proofs look so much better when printed! you can see more detail.

Re: For those that received your proofs on a disc
We had over 1,000 proofs and our photog gave us all the proofs printed out in 4x6 size AND he put them all on CD's! It was really helpful having them all in front of me and not just on a computer... plus they really look sharp printed out.
My dad got all our honeymoon pics printed in the city for $.06 (six) cents a print... you can find somewhere like that to get them printed maybe and it won't cost too much.

don't say that!..we have just under 1,000!!
I think I priced it at Shutterfly or Snapfish and it was maybe a little over $200 all together

Re: For those that received your proofs on a disc
We had 1200 plus, and I ordered AT LEAST half of them. I don't regret it, but it wasn't really necessary. If I had to do it all over again, I would not have ordered all of those pictures that are now just sitting in albums!

Re: For those that received your proofs on a disc
If my photographer hadn't given us the proof album, I would definitely have printed them all out too. Unless there's really something wrong with the picture, I think you should have all of them in an album!

Yea, why not! Get 'em printed And besides, if you go with snapfish or winkflash or any of those online printing places, you get the first 20 free for your first order, so why not?! Go for it!

Re: For those that received your proofs on a disc
Our photographer gave us actual 4x6 prints and we get a cd of them when we pick up our album. I'm glad I had the prints b/c we layed them out and put them into piles to do our album

Re: For those that received your proofs on a disc
I got my actual proofs too and I think Duet gives me a CD when my album is done.
Even though I had about 900 proofs, I still ordered some from Shutterfly. I wanted to have some that I could cut up and scrapbook with or cut to put into frames and I didn't want to do that to my actual proofs.
I also enlarged a family picture for my DH's family too and I did that through Shutterfly (sorry Duet )

Re: For those that received your proofs on a disc
i agree, you need to see them in print. the photographer i booked before the one i actually used did this and then we picked what we wanted printed out. i cancelled him for this reason.
my photographer gave us both the dvd of proffs and the prints. i like having the dvd b/c i have a photo printer and i like to print them out myself. or go to a photo lab and have them printed out.

Re: For those that received your proofs on a disc
I printed 2 copies of each, plus I ordered sepia tone and B/W copies of some of them so that I could visualize.
I want to always have a full set of proofs, plus I wanted the extra copies for my scrapbook.
I figured this into my wedding costs ahead of time.
