If you were on the pill and you are now PG... how long did it take to become pregnant? How long were you on the pill for?

I was on for 3 years....as soon as i went off, 2 weeks later i was pregnant!!! I thought it would take much longer, but nope..baby had other plans. :)

friends of ours were planning on a baby only 8 days later...
Other friends of ours it was about a month...

I'm presently on month 4 after 8 years on the pill, and no baby yet.

Just asked my Dr. about this on Thursday because I went off them - and he said that right after you go off the pill is the most fertile you will ever be - the pill suppresses your ovaries - and when you go off the pill your body surges.
