When are you baking your Christmas/holiday cookies? I plan on baking this upcoming weekend so they are at their freshest for Christmas.

you can bake then b4 hand, what i do to keep them fresh is to keep them in a air tight container and put in a slice of bread in each container, it helps keep the cookies fresh and not go stale. Once the bread gets rock hard you need to replace it with another pice

my cookies last 3 weeks even without the air tight container. I just always bake the 4-5 days before christmas.

I baked this past weekend. Cookies are in airtight containers and will stay fresh until after christmas!

I start baking around the 10th. I store my cookies in tins with layers of waxed paper between the cookies. I find that this keeps them fresh.

If I were to put them into tupperwares, will they stay really fresh??? If not, I will put them on plates with saran wrap over them.

Every year on Christmas Eve my sisters and I get tog and bake our cookies Last year we made gingerbread, this year sugar. If I have time before Christmas I'll make gingerbread cookies also.
