I wanted some advice one what you did with framing your enlargements. We dont want to spend a ton of money and want to see other options before going to our local frame store (which is quite pricey) - the problem seems to be that there are no already made frames for 16 inches by 24 inches.
TIA!

Re: Framing englargements
I didn't frame mine yet, but AC Moore does custom framing. You should check it out. They also have sales often on their framing.

Thanks - anyone else have recommendations?
Anyone have a code or coupon for the framing?

Re: Framing englargements
You may be able to just find the frame at AC Moore. They have a ton of frames, I just went last week and got my frame for 40% off, my picture was a 16 x 20. Go to acmoore.com and i think there was a 40% off coupon on their website!

Re: Framing englargements
I bought a frame from Michael's...and just had them do the custom matte. Even when they have the 50% sale for custom framing I still couldn't justify how much it cost. So I saved alot of money by just having them make a custom matte. The difference is I don't have the really fancy frame, and they didn't flush mount the picture for me...and I don't have the special glass that keeps the pic from fading.

Re: Framing englargements
Thanks! I am going to check out A. C. Moore - I checked out Michaels and BBB and there are so many frames for 16 x 20 but none for 16 x 24 - now I am thinking my photographers made my enlargement that odd size so we went to them for framing.
Thanks for the advice - what is a custom matte?
that sounds like something we could do... but can they do that for any size?
thanks again!

Re: Framing englargements
Our photographer made the enlargement.
We had it framed through him and got a very reasonable price.
