Free movies today!

All On Demand movies are free for today only if you have Cablevision!

I guess this is their apology for all of us missing the Oscars.

Does anyone know - if you order a movie, are you able to DVR it? Like can I be greedy and order 10 movies and just DVR all of them?

i just tried getting Couples Retreat & it didnt work! :( I guess a lot of people are taking cablevision up on their offer!

It won't let me order any movies either, I guess tooo many people are taking advantage of it and killing their system, boo I want to watch free movies

It was sooo nice of cablevision to offer free on demand movies today in lieu of us losing channel 7. Too bad when you try to order a movie, guess what, surprise surprise it doesn't work. Then when you call Cablevision the line is BUSY for 20 minutes. When you finally get through, you will hear a recording telling you that due to unusually high call volume, we can't help you. call back another time. Cablevision *****!

hahahaahahaha go figure! thank god for Netflix...DH & I are trying to find a movie on there instead!

We got halfway through the Invention of Lying and paused it for dinner - and then we couldn't get it to work again!

And it was pretty good too - I bet if we'd picked a crappy movie it would have still worked.

My parents tried to do the same thing with 4 different movies and all got the same response. My mom was so angry she was on the web immediately to change to a different service provider and see what her options were. DH and I have been saying for years Cablevision is the devil.

We got halfway through The Invention of Lying but it didn’t work again last night since we paused it halfway through. I was able to watch 10 more mins of it this morning, and I’m racing home after work today so I get home before 5:23 and can finish it. I’m getting my free movie dammit!

FYI !!

for anyone who could not access any free movies yesterday... optimum is giving a $10 movie credit (good for 2 movies) if you call them...

i waited about 10 min on hold to wait for someone... not too bad... they told me it's good for this billing period...
