Friday NW QOTD

First off, TGIF! I thought this week would never end! It's been a crazy one for me - this morning I almost left my house with my pink Crocs on!

So today I want to know how good our hubbies are...when's the last time your DH brought home flowers (or something else) just because?

I haven't gotten flowers in a long time, but that's probably because I buy them for myself when I see pretty ones in the supermarket. This week DH brought home dessert since he knew I was crazing something sweet. He's a good guy - I'll keep him!

Well the last time I got flowers was our wedding day!

he had 3 dozen roses delivered to my parents house in the morning while i was getting ready! it was the sweetest thing!!
its very rare that i get flowers tho...maybe valentines day but thats fine reallyi rather a card!

lately he does silly sweet things like for example...DH is a chef, so at work he was catering a party and had to make a cheese platter, so he knows how much i love cheese, so he brought me home all the extra cheese he didnt use! like already cut up little cubes of all different kinda cheese!! HAHA he gets soo excited too when he does things like that, cuz he knows those little things make me soo happy!

The things that make me happy...cheese!! HAHA!

DH never gets me flowers. Mostly because when I met I told him that didn't impress me and it was better to do something mroe thoughtful. Yeah, big mistake. He NEVER BOUGHT ME FLOWERS until Thanksgiving last year! And now of course I WANT them. Oh well.

But he does sweet stuff all the time. I was sick two weeks ago and he went to pick up my meds at the pharmacy. He came back with cookies because I was laying on the couch whining about how we never have any cookies in the house a few days before.

I love my DH

Hmm. I don't get flowers so much anymore but partially bc my cat will basically knock down a wall in order to eat them!

My DH does sweet things for me all the time though. . the other day he made this wonderful dinner for me when I was coming back from a business trip so I would have something nice to eat. . (of course he thought I was getting in at 5:00 and I was getting in at 11:00 so it didn't work out so well) but still SUPER sweet!!

Hmmm.....the last time for me was our wedding day as well

I'm not really a flowers kinda girl though. I'd rather he surprised me with a Coach bag

Last Sunday he made breakfast AND cleaned up. I thought that was pretty awesome.

OMG sammmeeeee! Even if I don't want to eat them I always feel like something is very wrong if there's no cookies in the house. (hence the I'm getting huge post)

Hmm it’s been a while since I got flowers… probably bc he usually sends them to me at work and I yell at him for spending so much $.

Last week he made a special food shopping trip since I was home sick and brought home the only things I’m allowed to eat… which is basically nothing and why I’ve lost 5 lbs.

Since we are super broke and have been since the wedding, I would have to say not for a long time!! He is super sweet and does a ton of stuff for me on a daily basis though, so I think that's good enough!!

When we were first dating I told DH that I hate getting flowers because they die and I would rather him spend the money on something cooler. But now sometimes I complain that he never brings me home flowers...just because! He was like, W T F is wrong with you, you TOLD me not to buy you flowers. The thing is, I don't want flowers on my birthday or on Valentine's Day, but I would love flowers on a random Tuesday, just because. He did send me a dozen red roses on our wedding day with a really sweet card.

Yesterday. He stopped to get lunch on his way home from work. He brought me home a giant rice krispie treat from the deli. Considering I am 20 weeks pregnant this was me

I have to admit that DH does buy me flowers on a regular basis...and I have to say that I love when he does. Here are some pics of a few that he has brought home.

i know its not flowers lol..but i have been addicted to mario for the wii..andi was telling him im having trouble finding all the coins lol..so yesterday when i came home he brought me the cheat guide

'today you become my wife..i love you so much,meet me at the altar and RANGERS ****!!'

I have a good hubby..He is very thoughtful and he used to bring home flowers all the time..but I told him to stop. Ha. I'm so not a girl. Flowers make me sneeze and they cost a million dollars just to die the next day. After I told him to stop he came home oneday and surprised me with a diamond necklace.. so maybe I'm on to something!
