FRIDAY - SNOW DAY QOTD

Ok so we got about a foot of snow already! What i want to know is how much snow do you have? And if you're home what is your snow day plans??

Since im off today thought i would be productive & get a workout in nice & early & then begin to try & shovel some of this snow. DH is home too so it will be fun. Then i took out the stew meat to defrost so later this afternoon ill be making some home made Beef Stew. Funny i never eat the meat just all the veggies i throw in there. It will take at least 3 hours so def. need to get it done & on the stove by 2. Then DH got the screener for Valentine's Day so we will be curled up watching that.

So, yesterday we woke up to this here in North Carolina:

Mandy was saying that y'all had rain up there.

But by noon when I got out of the gym, every little tiny bit of snow was completely gone!!!!!

So it's totally clear today.

Today's plans include heading to whole foods to get the ingredients for the wheatberry, beats & carrots recipe I learned at WF in their healthy cooking class on Wednesday. I'm so excited to make this stuff!

I don't know how much we have...we actually didn't have that much on the ground at all when I left this morning. DH only had to shovel as much as he did because our street was plowed and he needed to do the end of the driveway so we could get out. I'd say maybe just 2-3 inches, tops. I don't know about now though.

I had to come to work today, so business as usual for me. I don't even think we're leaving early.

I'm going to put up my Easter decorations in the hopes that fun spring decorations will inspire this snow to go away!

I think we have abt 12 - 14 inches of snow. DH went out last night to play in it and clean off his car. Today I'm staying in (off from work) and DH is going to work.

I slept 12 hours!!! Finally caught up!!!!

We have a boatload of snow here!!! No Idea how much but it is still coming!!! I am doing laundry today and I feel like having a High School Musical Marathon!!!
