Share your cute or funny pet stories. As a relatively new 'mommy' i really enjoy hearing other pet stories. Lord knows I have enough of my own to bore people lol.
This one is about our 9 month old spawn...His name isSImon but it should be Damian
We had 2 of the same toy from xmas (from grandma-my mom) and were going to return one. So we put it 'out of reach' and when we went to look for it la few weeks ago we couldnt find it. Pete was scratching his head because he's good with things like that-always remembers where things are. So we looked for week and nada. We turned the house upside down. NOTHING. Then I walk in today and there it is in the middle of the floor as bold as can be, STILL attached to the cardboard that ahs the catnip vial, WITH the receipt..Simon stole it and hid it and finally decided to bring it out again.
We shoulda named him Houdini.

i have two doggies - a shitzu named simon (whose only fault is eating things....LOVES to find things to munch on) & a teacup chihauha named jeffrie (whose only fault is barking at people & buses when they run by outside lol) they're pals, brothers, however u wanna put it. So back when i lived with my mom josh always used to bring jeffrie over. One night my mom was pup-sitting while we were out....so she's watching a movie, and about a half our into it jeffrie runs in the room and starts pokin' his nose at her feet. My mom is trying to ignore it & enjoy her movie....jeffrie then runs out of the room, only to return a minute later but this time standing in the doorway to the den growling at her. So now she like 'WHAT jeffrie...WHAT is ur problem' ..then goes back to watching movie her movie thinking he's just being a PITA... So now 3 or 4 times jeffrie does the same routine...runs out of the room, comes back, & starts barking in the doorway at my mom..runs out of the room, comes back & does it again...and again...and again. Finally my mom couldn't take it anymore so she gets up & goes 'WHAT jeffrie'....with this he leads her to the living room & sits next to simon who is chomping down on her cell phone!!!!!! the little guy was totally telling on him! Luckily her phone ended up being fine, but i just find it hysterical that he KNEW simon was doing what he wasn't supposed to be doing...and actually came & told on him lol. too cute!

oh, and just a funny quirky habit that jeffrie has....he can NOT eat his treats untill he hides it first! We usually gate them in our kitchen while we're out, and even if we throw a treat in there - he'll hold on to it ALL day.....then when we let them out he'll go bury it someplace, wait literally 10seconds, and THEN he'll eat it. lol. he's such a weirdo - i swear he has o.c.d. And if he can't find a place he wants to bury it he'll just pace the living room with the treat in his mouth wimpering lol. but c'mon - if he's locked up he'll wait ALL day just to hide it for a second??!?!!! that's some SERIOUS quirkiness!! but he's so darn cute!

LMAO I LOVE that quirk! Thats what makes them special. Simon is in his 'puberty stage' right now. He used to make this pathetic yelp of a meow and now his voice is starting to change. So the other night he meowed and ti was a real one. He PUFFED UP like a HAlloween cat and spazzed out, lmao looking around expecting to see another cat. I'm like 'Its you stupid.' but he was all spazzy all nigth hiding in corners.
He also trips over his own feet now because his body has grown and he is not used to it yet. So he kinda lumbers like an awkward teenage boy with his shoulers hunched. It soooo funny. I wish I could post video clips.
