I bought my dining room and bedroom furniture at Thomasville. I also love Ethan Allen. They have the kind of furniture that will last you a lifetime.

My living room furniture is from Macys and Raymour & Flanigan ( I didnt want to go over the top with this room bc I'd like to change it up every few yrs)

Have fun decorating your new home!

Ashley Furniture. We went to the outlet store in NJ. They have beautiful furniture, good prices, especially if you go the outlet one and I think the quality is better then some other places. My first couch was from Ikea, but they don't have that great of a selection and pretty much all their couches are cloth, which I didn't want again.

We got our bedroom from The Door Store (which i love. I know pricey but love them great furniture)

I agree with u on Ray Flan not to over the top because you do alway schange things in the liv room. Wether it be small pieces or just throw pillows. lol

My mom has a leather sectional from them and has had it for years and years and it has held up really well. She also has the bed in it, but I wouldn't recommend it as the mattress is maybe 2 inches thick!

We bought our den microfiber sectional (including two end table and two lamps) and entire living room set (Leather couch and loveseat with glass coffee table, two matching end tables and two lamps) We love all of the furniture and our guests have loved it too! We did not get the beds in them. We also got the protection plan which we felt was better than any other stores' plans. Just be aware that the shipping is a little pricey, so try to order it all at once. We bought one set then another so we paid the delivery twice! We really love our furniture!

I also recommend Thomasville.

However, I have also bought furniture at a smaller store - Culley's in Valley Stream. Smaller showroom but excellent service.

We bought our furniture from so many different places and really love them all....kitchen table and hutch was from Ashleys, couch and sofa from Bobs, and bedroom set from Raymour and Flanigan lol Had really great experiences with the deliveries and products are good (so far lol its only been a few months!) Good luck furniture shopping!

Thomasville or Ashley....I haven't had a problem with either....

Me personally...R&F isn't the best - I know too many many people who have issues with the furniture...and price wise they aren't so cheap....

Any of the places in Carle Place by the mall are great. And they are in very close range of each other. They all have a great quality and vary in price ranges. Most of my friends have bought furniture from there, one recently bought from R&F in Huntington and SWEARS by that store.
