Did any of you find you started putting on weight after you got married. I've only been married for 6 months and already find I'm much bigger than my wedding date...
It seems 'I do' went to one thigh and 'I will' went to the other...

Re: Gaining weight...
I put on most of my weight since I met my hubby back in 1997. I was a size 6 or 8 then and now I am a 12 or 14!
However, I was always underweight and putting on some pounds was actually good for me. But now I need to shed a few. It is hard, but I attribute that to my work schedule and poor eating habits. Last time I did WW, I lost 10 pounds. I will be doing that again, but for some reason I keep coming up with excuses.
I am happy with myself, and hubby doesn't complain, but I know I would feel better if I was 10 lbs thinner. It's all in your mind. I don't have to be a size 4, 6 or even 8, but I would like to be a 10 or 12

Re: Gaining weight...
Well in hopes of TTC soon, I have been very good I have actually lost weight, when I saw Tammy last week or 2 weeks ago she said, you look skinny in your neck area she said not that you were fat but you look like you have lost weight since the last GTG. I am trying my best to be good but we all fall off, just don't stay down, get back up and try to stay active. I bore quite easily so I try to change my work out a lot to stay motivated. I fear fat.

gaining weight
so true!!! The HM started it .... eating like we didn't care, drinking all day ... those Daquiri's will KILL you!
Then when I'd finally gotten it under control .... whammo ... PG!
Now the weight is REALLY coming on .... I'm trying to be extra good, but it seems that the baby has an ENORMOUS sweet tooth!

Re: Gaining weight...
Paiz if you can figure out that mystery you will be a rich woman The funny thing is when we are eating and adding the lbs we do not seem to notice it, until its too far gone
paiz...I alwasy thought that way too...easy to put it on...but then I looked at it...I put on 12 pounds in 8 months...I should have no problem losing 12 pounds in 8 months...we just want immediate results

Re: Gaining weight...
I think the solution would be to stop putting those skinny-minnies on all the magazine covers and we wouldn't be so aware of those extra 10 pounds! Size 0 is not the norm!

Come on ladies don't blame the society, blame your will power. Walk away from the cookies and the chocolate *takes another cookie from the co-worker desk* Chews while I write
doreen I think there is a lot of truth to what you say...
there was big controversy when Kate Winslet went public sayigna men's magazine shaved off 1/3 third of her thighs!!!! 1/3!!! thats awful!! no wonder we feel the way we do...
