how do i do this? i need it to change my attorney registration status

I was planning on going back to the clerks office, but not sure. I think you can mail them a letter to request additionals. Not sure if they cost anything tho.

You can go to the town hall you filed for your marriage license, and request additional certified copies (that have the raised seal). There is a fee, but I don't think it's more than $10 a copy

what dept are you in? i'm in the first and the form said to attach a copy - it didn't specify needing an original. now i'm concerned that i should have attached an original. i guess i will see, i should get my response from them soon...

i'm in the second department - it says 'attach a certified copy of your certificate of marriage registration setting forth your changed marital surname'

hmmm not sure if that means a 'copy' or an actual one

ours just says 'attach a copy of appropriate proof, e.g. marriage certificate/license...'

You can actually do it online but its $30 fee. I don't know if there is a fee if you physically go to a town hall, I would guess there is. I had to get a certified copy and I just did it online.
