Mini Honeymoon: Montauk - stayed at Montauk Yacht club and relaxed for 3 days

Big Honeymoon - 3 days in Ireland - 12 days in France (Bordeaux, Normandy, Mont-St. Michel, Paris) and back to Ireland for one night. It all starts on July 24th!

Pets: 55 gallon fish tank, with only one huge remaining african cichlet (if anyone wants it - I want to recycle the tank)

Hobbies: Together -we both golf, take ballroom dance lessons and compete for the kitchen. Secretly - he's the better cook! We love to entertain, and have dinner with friends.

Seperately, I like to exercise, play scrabble and read ( a lot). He is still involved in his Fraternity

Live in an apt in Washington Heights right now, a few blocks from school. Finally unpacked my showers gifts yesterday from my shower 9 months ago! Plan to move next year when I find out where I will be doing my residency- we will definetely be staying in NYC for at least 5 more years. Maybe we will buy an apt and raise our family here, not sure yet. My DH really wants a BBQ and a dog, so may have to move to the burbs, or at least Bkyln!

I had so much fun reading all this!!!

Okie dokie here's my scoop:

Me: Debbie (aka Bearsbabe)

DH: Joe (aka Bear hence the babe part , although I don't call him Bear, I call him Baby -- sometimes he's Buddy or Pally, depending on what he did wrong LOL)

Married: 10/6/01 -- almost 2 years, boy time just flies when you're having fun

Honeymoon: 10 glorious days in Aruba (the hard part was getting DH on the plane after 9/11 -- haven't gotten the big wuss on a plane since!!!)

Age: me 38 (gulp is right )
DH 35 (gotta love those younger men LOL)

Where We Live: Maspeth, Queens in the house DH grew up in. I grew up in Astoria/JH area (around the block from LaGuardia airport). Will look for a house in a year or two -- maybe border Queens/Nassau (sorry JennRenee )

Occupation: I work as a Legal Secretary for a major entertainment company (with MichelleW). DH is a Machine Operator in the corrugated paper field (no clue, all I know is he comes home filthy, smelly and greasy) LOL!!!!

How We Met: Walking down the street at the San Gennaro Feast on 9/18/99.

Currently 31 weeks preggo with our Little Bear Cub -- estimated due date 9/9/03, although DH is telling everyone 9/11 (Jen, maybe on Patrick's b'day), although I'm hoping or makes his/her appearance on 9/18 which would be the 5th anniversary of the day we met! (How corny, right! )

As for pictures, I have a few (yes Shamma, go ahead and yell) posted somewhere, but since I don't own a computer or a scanner for that matter, I'm a big slacker in the picture department!!!
One day I'll post my infamous billboard picture!

Gotta say one more thing or maybe two: first, I've met some very nice and lovely girls on here and I'm very honored to call them my friends!! I've gotten many kind words of support and encouragement from you all and you are the first thing I go to in the morning when I get to work!!!

Second, I'm known as the other half of the Tangent Tag Team!! I'm proud to say my other half is Anna!!!

VICKIC: Yes, I LOVE being a medical transcriptionist. There's nothing like wearing your PJs to work. It can be isolating, though, and you get lonely sometimes...

STEF28: We went to Newport for part of our HM, too! We stayed at a fancy B&B called The Cliffside Inn. Did you do the mansion tours? They were so cool.

JENNRENEE: My hubby took the LT test too, but thinks he flunked. It was given the day before our wedding, so it really screwed him up.

Deb, that is no excuse, look at you go off on a tangent So I guess we are going to be deprived pix of the baby, I will have to make trips out to Queens to come and see baby bear and take pix for the ladies to see
