Girls who are expecting or who have children...

I am sending yet another baby gift out yet this person is not registered anywhere.

What is a gift you would really appreciate??? Diapers, clothes, bottles, bibs, toys? I am voting for diapers but its from my boss...so not sure if he will like that idea!!! LOL!

If you are going for things that are awesome and they might not get....cloth diapers they are the best burp rags ever......or something personalized....

A basket of board books can be fun. They are those little books made of really sturdy cardboard and are sturdy for babies and toddlers.

i work with infants and let me tell you..i think bibs, onesies and burp cloths are essentials...i wouldnt get diapers only b/c some babies are allergic to some, and some parents only want to use a specific kind...def go with more generic stuff.....and speaking of books...here's a good one that always makes me a little teary eyed

I'd send a gift card to babies-r-us or buy buy baby- they can always use it.

My new gift is a cute outfit or stretchies and a target giftcard. They can always use stretchies and they can buy diapers or formula (or whatever they want) with the gift card!

I have to agree with the gift card gift. I know it doesnt seem as personal a gift. Since they arent registered anywhere the gift card gives them a chance to buy whatever they think they need for the baby or havent bought yet. Plus it reduces the double and triple gift items.

I usually send a nice picture frame with a gift certificate to have professional pics taken (like at Babies R Us or Sears or somewhere like that).

Personalized blankets from Pottery Barn Kids -- they look cute and wash really well. I give them to everyone!

I'm pregnant and have started getting stuff!

BOOKS ARE GREAT!!!! You can never have enough and people never think to get them!

Gift cards are also great.

I'm not a big fan of picture frames, or stuffed animals. CLothes are Ok but EVERYONE sends clothes....it gets to be too much!

I would do what one of the previous posters said and do a basket of books!!! A GREAT IDEA!!!

Did you check to see if they had a registry? Not sure how much you are looking to spend but the walker, swing and high chair were all gifts that I got plenty of use out of. A gift card is always a great idea.
