Girls who post during work

Just out of curiosity...does anyone else ever feel guilty for spending so much time on LIW or for internet searching?

With all the layoffs going on sometimes I worry it might come back to bite my in the a.s.s...

Or am I the only nervous nelly

like do we feel guilty knowing that other ppl dont have jobs and all we do is post away on here?

or guilty meaning we hope we dont get fired for posting away on here?

I feel that way too. My boss has been in Rome for the last month, so there isn't much to do here. Once she's back towrads the end of the week I'll be super busy.

I don't feel guilty b/c whenever I am on is only b/c I don't have anything going on that moment. If I am handed something to do, I ALWAYS make sure that gets done before I go online. I am not on here to just play around and put off my responsabilities. :)

ITA ditto for me!!

a majority of my job responsibilities happen when i go out into the field... which i do everyday @ 230.. which is why you dont see me on here after that (except friday... im in the office all day fridays)

It is super slow here at work and driving me crazy. I'd rather be busy.
No, I don't feel guilty posting because I do get my work done. Plus it adds to my multi-tasking skills.
It would be different if I was a slacker work wise.

ohhh well.. i dont really know if anyone knows that i go on here.... i mean, its known that everyone usually does personal stuff on the internet around here... as long as it doesnt get in the way of you work i dont see an issue with it

True...I get all of my work done, plus. So I guess Im safe

When I am on, its because my boss is away and everything has been done for upcoming meetings and everyone is slacking off anyway.. ex: today!! no one feels like working.. and we have 4 Pm mtg.. so everything is set for it and nothing is pending!

I deal with spreadsheets all day so posting here is my breather. I have my own office so besides posting on the boards for human interaction I dont really have much. So I dont feel guilty bc I still get my work done ahead of time.
There are tons of employees that spend the day on the phone so whats the difference?

LIW is my cigarette break!

All the women who go down for a smoke, every single hour, adds up to the time I spend on LIW.

There, justified!

my boss works in another office, so the way i see it.....

there is only a problem if the work doesnt get done and i am on top of all my employees so i dont feel guilty about it
