Girls who use paypal and/or sell on ebay **UPDATE** Im an A-HOLE!!

OK so the guy sends me a reciept that he got from ebay saying he paid.......and apparently I have two paypal accounts under 2 different emails!!!!!!!!!! So i just went on the other account and he did pay me! WOW!! I feel like an @ss! Thanks for all your help ladies!

Im just worried because I've never done this before. This might have been really stupid but I never set up like a debit card on there. My credit card is on there so I just assumed the $$ the guy paid for the phone would go towards my CC balance.....is that wrong? Maybe thats why its not showing up?

sometimes they hold the payment up to 4 days, or until they can confirm it has been delivered, they do this by checking tracking information or if the buyer reports he/she has received it.

when the money does clear, you can withdraw it either by directly going into your checking account or they can mail you a check. it won't go on your cc as a credit.

no it will go into your pay pal acccount balance and then you will have option to transfer funds to an account you setup, no worries i do it all the time

They might have paid by echeck via paypal in which that can take up to 2-3 weeks before payment has cleared sometimes. Check the email where it says you received payment & then see if it says via echeck through paypal. If that's the case then I would contact the buyer to let them know that you cannot ship anything until the funds have cleared into your acct - this has happened to me several times...BIG PITA, but eventually you get your $$$.. HTH hunny

Ok you definitely should have gotten an email from paypal telling you that you received payment. The person might have gone in manually to ebay to mark the item as paid - so I definitely WOULD NOT send anything yet. How long ago did you set up your paypal acct??

Gail that doesnt matter - what matters is the email he receives from PAYPAL stating that he sent payment - if you feel comfortable enough fwd that email to me once you get it & I can look it over for you & let you know what the deal is - I'm not trying to scare you but there are A LOT of scammers on ebay - sadly it's happened to me & DH combined like at least 1/2 dozen times.

Either way - dont send ANYTHING until you speak w/ someone over at paypal. They do have a tel# - it's been a while since I had to call them so I dont remember if it's toll free or not.
