how long when you stopped taking the pill did it take you to get AF???
cuz i dont know exactly when i stopped cuz i was so use to not paying attention to my cycle cuz the pill paid attention for me, but now im completely lost!! i think i should have gotten it already!???
oh and im so not preggo if that was your first reaction...i tested to make sure (me...rats, chris fewfff)
lol but i feel like its been about a month and a half??! is this normal or should i be nervous that the pill screwed me up?!!!!!!

Th first month off the pill my cycle was 46 days long. Dont worry it will show up!

The first cycle was like 7 weeks for me! The second cycle was 3 weeks! This past cycle was a nice 4 week cycle so I am hoping it stays that way!
Honestly, everyone is different ... if you miss two periods then I'd call the GYN ... there are meds they can give you to make you get your period.

I went off the week I was supposed to get mine because I was spotting anyway, so I got it right when I was supposed to and then I got it again like 25 days later.

It's different for everyone and every pill. I went off one once and didn't get it for two months. This time I got it 3 days later again. But I just said screw it and stopped taking it, instead of waiting like I am supposed to to the end of the cycle... but this was because I figured out it was making me fat.

I feel like someone just asked this on the 2010 board yesterday -- maybe see what other women weighed in on there, too.
I went off in February 2008 after 11 years. After 3 months I still didn't get my period, so my doc put me on a one-week pill that gave me it right away. 3 months later, I got it on my own. Then I didn't get it again and I took the same one-time pill. Then I started getting it, but all over the place... some months 85 days, some 55, some 28, some 35.
Finally in the past 6 months or so it's been a little more regular... it was swapping between 35 days and 59 days every other month for a while.
Everyone is different and if you're concerned, see your doctor.

ugh this is soo annoying!! i was like soo regular before i started the pill...which was 5 years ago!!
gina we might not see any baby dudas anytime soon if mother nature doesnt help out a little bit! lol

I got my period around normal time but then my cycle was all screwed up for about 9 or 10 months. Almost every month my period would go one day later. It went all the way up to 35 days and then just went back to normal. I will never go on it again, my feeling is if something can screw your body up for 10 months after you've stopped taking it's just not for me.

Mine were normal right away but if you read on the TTC LIF board there are girls that have crazy long cycles and for months. Many had a normal then really long ones.....
I think anything is possible. You can always call the Dr if you are concerned but I think its pretty normal for it to be all over the place.

I came off the pill in January and my first cycle after coming off the pill was 42 days and then after that its been about 33 days.
Also, not sure if you have an iphone or not but if you do theres an app that where you can keep track of your cycle and it tells you your most fertile days etc.

My first cycle took about 35 days, then my second cycle took 33 days, and my last was 30 days, so it seems like it took a few months to completely regulate. It can definitely mess you up, it takes time and everyone is different.

I went off after 20 years of being the pill. First cycle was 28 days exact, then 25, 26, and now 27.

Everyone's different. I was always super regular before I went on the pill so going off I was still very regular. I got my period when I was supposed to, and only fluctuate a few days here or there. But I know for some people it takes a really long time, so I wouldn't be worried. Be patient! It takes time to re-regulate yourself.

Sometimes it takes a while...
Or in my case, my first cycle was 28 days-then next month 25, and then the 3rd month 22 They kept getting shorter!!!
Thankfully the next 2 (most current) cycles are back to 28 days again.
It's a total pain in the @ss getting regulated.

Yea...once you go off the pill your cycle will be off schedule for the first 3 months. It'll get back on track.
