Re: Good books

What kind of books do you like?

I recommend almost anything by Jodi Piccoult - I have read My Sister's Keeper, Nineteen Minutes, Second Glance and The Tenth Circle and all were great - they read fast.

I also loved the something borrowed, something blue series. .

I'm in the process of reading Testimony by Anita Shreve and its interesting.

Re: Good books

I just finished reading The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls and it was incredible. Its a memoir, which I don't usually read, but I could not put it down.

Re: Good books

I really liked the twilight series if you haven't read those yet. The Host by Stephenie Meyer was also really good it just took a while to get into it. If you want something light and fun the divorce debutante and bergdorf blonds by plum sykes were both really good. I also really liked Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons by Lorna Landvik. My Sister's Keeper and Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Piccoult are also really good reads but I think they were mentioned before.

Re: Good book recommendations

if you like historical fiction The Lady Elizabeth and Innocent Traitor are really good, both by Alison Weir. The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield was very very good, as was the The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. It's a YA book, but it does not read like one at all. It actually made me cry.

Right now I'm reading The Glass Books of the Dream Eaters by Gordon Dahlquist. It's very different from any book I've read before, and it's definitely not for everyone, but right now I'm hooked. It just takes you getting through the first 150 pages to get to that point.

Re: Good book recommendations

Something borrowed was great!

Jane Hamilton is a great author.

If you are looking for light - any of the stephanie plum novels by janet evanovich. they are all hysterical and fast reads.

Anita Shreve is amazing - pilot's wife is an old one but SO GOOD. Widwives is another great one, not by her I don't think but I read them around the same time and associate one with the other. :)

Patricia Gaffney is also a great author.
