Good place for a mini-moon????

Me & DH didn't get to plan a honeymoon. I haven't been feeling well and i'm in the middle of trying to figure out weather i am developing episodic asthma, or if it's a problem with my esophagus... long story..and most of you know this has been going on for awhile.. but anyway..
between that and DHs job at the time..we couldn't book an official honeymoon

so we are looking into going away someplace for a weekend.. and hopefully sometime soon while that tingly newlywed feeling is still there..lol.

We're thinking maybe the poconos or upstate? maybe even a B&B in boston?? someplace fairly close..

anyone have a good recommendation??? TIA

Don't know if you consider Maine close but a friend of mine and her DH use to go here all the time...

wow..that is soo pretty. we have a gift certificate to bedandbreakfast.com that we havent used yet.. i'll have to see if they are included!!!!!!!!

Connecticut is really pretty and quiet. That's where DH proposed...we had a nice couple of days there.

There is a hotel called Emerson upstate a couple of hours. its very nice with an amazing spa!!

Its a few hours, but North Conway NH is a great town with lots to do!

We usually go to this B&B in CT for weekend getaways. If you take the ferry over, it's only a 20 min drive from there. It's about 20 mins from Mohegan Sun and 1/2 hr from Foxwoods.

I recommend Newport - there are many B&B's there, you'll probably get a great deal as it's off season now. It's a quiet, pretty town and there are mansion tours that are out of this world. Take a romantic walk by the harbor or the Cliff Walk in back of the mansions too. We went for our anniversary and loved it! FM me if you want info on the B&B we stayed at, and some restaurants we went to.
