I don't think so. Some people just like to be drama llamas. You werent going cazy you're just excited like we all were until we got our pics. She was 'Screaming' for attention with that post. Ignore it.

And another thing-not to book a photographer you know does good work b/c of the amount of time for proofs is in my mind a little drastic-you wait how long for your wedding? I mean, my proofs were ready 2 weeks after my wedding and I didnt pick them up until 2 months later yea I waited that long...but I would rather KNOW my pictures are great then want them in 2 weeks
And on top of that...yes people are starving but we are all spending $$$$$ on weddings.

I don't fault the thread-starter for posting ... I mean, I guess the reason I posted here was to vent my frustrations, why shouldn't future brides know the good, bad, and ugly, right? She was actually sympathetic..... but to belittle my frustrations regarding my WEDDING on a WEDDING WEBSITE is just a bit .

with only 155 posts and an 09 bride i think its a bit soon to be stalking the NW boards, besides thats what these boards are for!! if we only talked about depressing things like people dying, cancer, and starving people, on a wedding website I think more then half of us wouldn't be here any longer.

I'd be seriously pi$$ed, but then again, I had a major problem with my video guy and his lies and non-delivery that I threatened to put a lien on his house. The one that is across the street from my friends. The one he was selling because he was moving to Vegas. I won.

ITA! You didnt whine. You are handling your situation with the upmost of respect and have good reason to be upset imo. If it was me in your situation...it would honestly drive me crazy, and i would probably stalk the studio every single day. Im just that type of person lol...if i pay for a service...i expect a company to do it and do it efficiently.

Wow what a looooooooon. Aside from the fact that you paid good $$$$ and have been EXTREMELY restrained, and are now 'late' by formal standards with your TYs through no fault of your own (unlike me ) you got married in a 'slow' month (like me ) and should have SOME deliverable in hand by now.
Thankfully though that poster is the OOOOONLY one who said that...
