Got felt up this morning w/UPDATE
So, I went for a bilateral breast ultrasound this morning. My MD wanted me to have a mammogram due to a very stong family history of breast cancer (mom, grandma, 4 aunts and 1 uncle). The hospital wouldn't do a mammogram due to my age. They said I was too young for a mammogram and at 29 my tissue is too soft to get a good result. Hence, the ultrasound.
Anywho...the technician spent about 15 mins just on the right side of my right breast. My left boob took about 5 mins all together...so I am totally freaking out about the amount of time she spent in that 1 region. I asked her if she saw anything out of the ordinary and she told me that she couldn't say and that my MD would call me tomorrow.
So, of course, I am totally freaking out. I'd appreciate any good vibes you could send!!!

Hey Ladies!
Saw my MD this morning (for something else..oy vey) and she read me my ultrasound results. Left breast was totally normal, but they found a very small mass on my right breast that they are almost certain is a cyst. I have to go back in 3 months and have it checked again to see if it has changed. Thanks for your good thoughts and prayers! I do feel a lot better just knowing that its more than likely a cyst!![]()
